CM Yadav made the remark while addressing a Ladli Behna Utsav program at Chitrakoot in Satna district on Thursday. CM Yadav also reached among the Behnas who tied Rakhis to him. He thanked them and gave them his best wishes.
The chief minister was overwhelmed with emotion at the love showered on him by Ladli Behnas and at the beginning of his address he also sang the famous song, ‘Phoolon ka taron ka, sabka kehna hai… Ek Hazaron me meri Behna hai.’
“On August 10, Ladli Behnas will get Rs 1250 and an additional Rs 250 will be given as a Raksha Bandhan gift through a single click. The Raksha Bandhan festival is on August 19. But it will be celebrated throughout the month of Savan. Festivals are being organised in every district to receive blessings of Behnas,” CM Yadav said.
“Today Behnas have given me joy by tying a huge Rakhi. The festivals connect us. The whole world is amazed to see the festivals of India. Our sages started the tradition of festivals thousands of years ago to maintain love and harmony in society,” CM added.
“Beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana having gas connections will be given LPG cylinders at the rate of Rs 450. Continuous efforts are being made for the development of the state,” the CM said.
